ATM of Happiness — Simple Tips to Stay Happy
How can I be happy? We have all asked ourselves that question once. Even those who have a quiet life.
But when sadness invades our minds, it becomes difficult to give up.
In this post we will give you some tips yet effective tips to guide you on the path to achieving happiness, they are no magic recipes, but they will help you feel better about yourself and improve your life. Here we explore the ATM of Happiness:
Acceptance:
This is the first step to be happier than you were before reading this article.
Look around you and set your sights only on the good things you have: family, work, intelligence, friendship, and so on. And if you find yourself alone, remember this:
You’re never alone. The company of nature is everywhere!, Go2Words.com
Obvious the bad things, all those that have made you feel bad. Right now just look at the good things around you that you are ignoring, and just accept them.
Even the most unlucky person in the world has something good near or inside. Why don’t you have it?
Everything happens for some reason, say the wise. But if when you leave your house a car fills you with water and mud, what is the use of complaining and cursing your luck, you do not win anything, besides, do you sincerely believe that you are so important that nature or the spirits agree to hurt you?
No, you are a normal person, important to yours and nothing else.
If you are full of mud, it is because a car passed and crashed it on you, for no other reason. From then on you only have to make two decisions, first laugh at yourself (others are already doing it) and then go home to change.
You know, stop complaining and laugh at yourself. When everything goes wrong, smile and whisper: what a rubbish I am having during the day, I just need to… and imagine another bad thing that could happen to you.
Take A Charge
The past, especially negative experiences, is often a drag on the road to happiness. As a good captain, you have to let go of that unnecessary weight in your life to be able to move quickly towards your goal of being happy.
Our life is riddled with experiences, many of them negative, some very painful, such as the loss of a loved family member, a sentimental breakdown, some great emotional trauma.
These are things that are very difficult to forget and that affects us for a long time, sometimes more than logic dictates.
We cannot ask you not to be sad days after a painful separation, but you do have to lift your head and get on with your life, after all, keep going, whether you like it or not.
You can not continue to bear that pain, because it does not benefit you at all, it has already passed, it has no solution and as much as you look for solutions, most of the time they do not exist.
So you only have to look ahead and focus on your future, on the good things that you have at your side, assume that what is lost has no solution and put it in the bag of all the things that have been stayed on the road during your life.
Next to your first broken toy, the first platonic love, the first kiss, or the first lost family member. There you must leave it and look ahead.
Making the most of it
One of the main causes of unhappiness is problems. When they accumulate at a certain moment it may seem that our life is impossible to lead.
The main problem is not the problem itself, but how we deal with it.
Look ahead and set a goal, a goal. Something difficult but not impossible to achieve. Something that allows you to divert your negative thoughts to something else, that gives you little joys as you get closer.
Once you’re able to understand your thoughts and transform them, you can easily turn your current situation into a good one.
What can it be? It depends on you. Finish a training course or university career. Compete in a marathon. Help other people to improve their lives. Writing a book or a blog does not have to be good (even we do it).
Something that allows you to get up every morning, look back and see where you were three months ago and where you are today, something that allows you to realize that you are advancing, at your own pace, but you are advancing, and that as you advance, new challenges appear to be overcome.
The Nobel Prize for Literature, Jacinto Benavente said: Happiness does not exist in life. There are only happy moments. It may be true.
So from now on, try to multiply those happy moments and, above all, learn to recognize and enjoy them.
Avoid that. Try to appreciate every moment, do not let negative thoughts or unsolved problems prevent you from enjoying a pleasant time.
Try to live the present day, the current moment, you will have time to solve the problems.
We hope we have helped you improve your happiness with this article, we also hope that our advice will translate into an improvement in your quality of life.
