Does Using Multiple Sportsbooks Provide Better Sports Analysis?
Before you can even begin to bet on sports, you will have to decide what online sportsbooks you are going to be placing your wagers with. Yes, I said “sportsbooks” as in the plural form, because any professional sports gambler will want to have accounts with several online sites to be able to shop around for the best lines and have a good sports analysis. It’s not absolutely necessary but is highly recommended to speculate before you really get into sports betting.
Sometimes just an extra 1/2 point can be all you need to win a bet. And in an industry where an investment can be lost in one unlucky bounce, any reduction in “juice” or “vigorish” is extremely beneficial to one’s bankroll in the long haul. Not all sportsbooks offer the same lines and betting odds.
Some sportsbooks don’t even offer action on every listed sporting-event for a given day (another reason to have more than one account). So when you’ve finally found a game that you want to bet on, it’s a good idea to compare the odds being offered by at least three different sportsbooks before placing your wager. There are some sites such as 5Dimes, GTBets, and BetOnline that usually offer the lowest moneyline odds and reduced juice on their spreads and totals (-105 instead of -110 etc).
Obviously, these sites are great for betting on the favorites. There are also websites that offer higher moneyline odds and bigger spreads, such as Bovada and TopBet. These accounts are great to have for placing your underdog wagers. With a higher moneyline, you get paid more when your underdog wins. And with a bigger spread (ATS betting), your underdog bet has a greater chance of winning.
But don’t just go opening up accounts with various online sportsbooks just because of the odds and lines that they generally offer. Make sure you are opening an account with a book that is going to be around for a while. Even with the ability to share news and useful information with other people so quickly in today’s internet world, some bad sports betting websites still pop up every once in a while. Be sure to read about other people’s experiences with a particular sportsbook before signing up with them.
Check with independent sportsbook review websites (메이저놀이터) and professional gambling sites to see who they recommend. Any sportsbook that has bad business morals usually gets weeded out and shut down quickly these days. But they do spring up from time to time, and you don’t want to have your money disappear when they do.
There’s just too many safe, reliable, and trustworthy sites on the internet to even consider playing at one of the “unknown” books.
